# Introduction

> Official government data from 80 sources across eight countries. Company registries, court cases, sanctions, laws and gazettes, one API and one MCP server.

Croma is an API and MCP server for official government data. Company
registries, court cases, sanctions lists, laws and gazettes: 80 sources
across the United States, Japan, Brazil, Bolivia, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru and
Colombia, plus global web tools. Every endpoint takes the same key, returns
the same JSON shape, and is also a tool on the [MCP server](/mcp-server), so
Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent can call it.
